Javier Rubio comes from a traditional coffee-growing family and cultivates his farm, El Líbano, in Gaitania, Tolima, at 1,750 meters above sea level. With over 30 years of experience, Javier works alongside his family using certified organic practices. On his 7 hectares dedicated to coffee, he grows varieties such as Caturra, Castillo, Colombia, Geisha, and Tabi. The cool climate and high altitude allow for slow cherry maturation, resulting in sweet, juicy cups full of character. Javier also shares his knowledge with his community and has been recognized in competitions such as the Cup of Excellence.
